eaning of Hotpoint Washing Machine Error Codes

Modern day appliances are able to let you know when something is going wrong by displaying an error code when a fault is detected.

Hotpoint Washing Machines and Hotpoint Washer-Dryers have this handy facility – they either show an error code or LED lights start flashing on the console – to let you know the washing machine is experiencing an operational fault. Usually, the fault or error code will be your first indication that the washing machine has developed a problem, so you can’t ignore it. In fact, it is likely your machine will no longer function anyway, until you’ve dealt with the error code.

If you don’t know what the code means you won’t know where to start, so the first thing to do is note the code and then identify it in our Hotpoint washing machine error code guide below.

It’s possible the fault is something simple – like overloading – that you can rectify yourself, but sometimes what triggered the error code on the washing machine may be a more serious mechanical fault that will need a professional appliance repairer to fix.
